2023 Chevrolet Colorado

The 2023 Colorado is offered in a variety of trim levels, from the base model WT to the well-appointed Z71. All models come with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, a 6-speed automatic transmission, and a four-wheel-drive system. There are also a few packages available for the various models, including the All-Star Edition and the Redline Special Edition.

The base engine of the Colorado is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that produces 200 horsepower and 191 lb-ft of torque. This engine is offered with a 6-speed automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual. For more power, there is an available 3.6-liter V6 that generates 308 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque, with the same transmission options. There’s also a 2.8-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel option that produces 186 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque, with a 6-speed automatic as the only transmission option.

The base engine is capable of towing 3,000 pounds with the base trim and 5,000 pounds with the Z71. The V6 can tow up to 7,000 pounds when properly equipped. The turbodiesel can tow up to 7,700 pounds. The Colorado has adequate handling and acceleration, and it performs well off-road as well.

The interior of the Colorado is comfortable and well-equipped. It has an adjustable driver’s seat, cloth upholstery, power windows and locks, and a 6-speaker audio system. The Z71, the top of-the-line, has leather upholstery, heated seats, an 8-inch infotainment system, a power sunroof, and a power sliding rear window.

The Colorado comes standard with a suite of advanced safety features, including forward collision warning, lane keep assist, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. It also has a rearview camera and selectable driving modes. The Z71 adds on items like a tire pressure monitoring system, rear parking sensors, and blind-spot monitoring.
